A European platform for employee training

Mentor is a B2B SaaS platform for internal employee training, built in Slovenia. We started from the conviction that company knowledge disappears when it can't find a path to the people who need it. Mentor simplifies that process with AI assistance, gamification, and EU-friendly data handling.

1. The company

Mentor is developed and operated by Moji Mediji d.o.o., a Slovenian company headquartered in Ljubljana.

2. Why we built Mentor

Slovenian and Central European B2B companies share a common problem: a new employee joins every year, a new process or regulation lands every year, and the expertise that should be shared stays with individuals — and walks out the door when they leave.

Traditional LMS platforms solve this slowly and administratively: building a training module takes weeks, the interface is technically heavy, younger employees avoid it. Mentor puts AI and gamification at the core — a module is assembled in minutes, a quiz generates itself, progress is visible in leaderboards and rewards.

3. Our approach to data

Mentor is an EU-first platform. Application servers and the database run in Frankfurt, EU. Data stays in the EU region — except when the tenant admin explicitly enables AI features, in which case processing may take place with an AI provider outside the EU. AI features can be disabled at the company level.

Before sending data to an AI provider, we minimize and anonymize text: emails, phone numbers, Slovenian personal IDs, IBANs, and internal identifiers are stripped. More in the AI data processing document.

4. Who Mentor is for

Mentor primarily addresses:

  • Mid-sized companies (50–500 employees) that want training to be part of their culture, not just an HR checkbox
  • SMBs that would otherwise say "we don't have time for this" — Mentor removes the technical burden
  • Companies in regulated sectors (healthcare, finance, energy) where compliance training is mandatory
  • Organizations that want to keep their knowledge inside the EU, not send it across the Atlantic
